We’re open sourcing our privacy proxy CLI
TL;DR
Cloudflare has open-sourced a command-line interface tool called pvcli for debugging privacy-preserving protocols like Oblivious HTTP. This tool simplifies the development process and enhances incident response for privacy-related applications.
✦ Why It Matters
Start using pvcli today to simplify your development of privacy-preserving applications.
Key Takeaways
- Utilize pvcli for efficient debugging of Oblivious HTTP requests.
- Contribute to the pvcli project under the Apache-2.0 License.
- Reduce manual parsing of binary data with pvcli's clean interface.
- Test live systems easily without custom client development.
How It Works
pvcli allows users to execute full OHTTP requests with a single command, handling the complexities of encryption and communication between the client, relay, and gateway. It displays each step of the protocol in order, making it easier to identify issues and understand the flow of data.
