Slack has a new channel type — but only agents can create one
TL;DR
Slack has introduced a new channel type called Slack Code, designed specifically for coding agents and their supervising developers. Only agents can create these channels, which facilitate collaborative coding and project management.
✦ Why It Matters
Explore Slack Code to enhance your team's coding collaboration and project tracking today.
Key Takeaways
- Utilize Slack Code for collaborative coding sessions.
- Monitor agent-generated channels for project audit trails.
- Engage with coding agents to streamline development tasks.
- Stay updated on future integrations with more coding agents.
How It Works
Slack Code allows coding agents to create temporary channels that include essential project information like code diffs and pull requests. This facilitates real-time collaboration among team members, enabling them to interact with the agent and manage coding tasks effectively.
