Your database decision could come back to haunt you
TL;DR
Choosing the right database from the start is crucial for AI prototypes, especially in regulated industries. A poor choice can lead to costly redevelopment and compliance issues later.
✦ Why It Matters
Evaluate your database options today to ensure they meet future production requirements.
Key Takeaways
- Choose a database that supports both prototyping and production from Day 1.
- Avoid costly rework by ensuring compliance and security from the start.
- Utilize pgEdge Starfleet for seamless deployment across environments.
- Implement copy-on-write branching for efficient testing without data duplication.
How It Works
pgEdge Starfleet allows developers to deploy applications in various environments while maintaining the same underlying Postgres platform. This consistency ensures that applications behave identically in both development and production, reducing the need for rework.
