Launch HN: Prized (YC S26) – Let non-engineer staff build secure internal tools
TL;DR
Prized, a new tool from Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, enables non-engineering staff to create secure internal tools with role-based access. It streamlines operations by integrating data from Salesforce, Postgres, and Zendesk, allowing teams to manage orders and tickets efficiently.
✦ Why It Matters
Empower your non-engineering teams to build their own tools today using Prized.
Key Takeaways
- Empower non-engineers to build tools with AI.
- Ensure data security with scoped access controls.
- Utilize existing systems like Salesforce and Zendesk.
- Track tool usage with an audit log for accountability.
How It Works
Prized allows users to describe the tool they need, which is then built using AI. Admins pre-approve data connectors, ensuring that each tool only accesses the data it needs, based on user roles.
This setup minimizes security risks while enabling rapid development.
