Get your Windows license refund
TL;DR
Consumers are advocating for the right to receive refunds for Windows licenses on laptops they do not wish to use. The movement aims to promote the sale of laptops without pre-installed operating systems.
✦ Why It Matters
Contact your laptop manufacturer today to inquire about a refund for your Windows license.
Key Takeaways
- Document your contract and communications for refund requests.
- Contact manufacturers via email or chat for better tracking.
- Report issues to the Italian Antitrust for collective action.
- Research manufacturer refund policies before purchasing.
How It Works
Consumers can request refunds for Windows licenses by documenting their purchase and communications with manufacturers. This includes taking screenshots of contract clauses and keeping records of all interactions.
If initial requests are denied, escalating the issue to regulatory bodies can prompt action.
