LinkedIn Feed Blocker
TL;DR
A new Chrome extension called LinkedIn Feed Blocker effectively disables the distracting home feed on LinkedIn while allowing access to other essential features like profiles and messaging. This tool helps users focus on job searching and recruiter interactions without the noise of social media.
✦ Why It Matters
Download and install the LinkedIn Feed Blocker today to enhance your LinkedIn experience.
Key Takeaways
- Download and install the LinkedIn Feed Blocker extension.
- Enable Developer mode in Chrome for installation.
- Reload the extension after making changes to configuration files.
- Use the extension to focus on job searching without distractions.
How It Works
The extension uses CSS to hide the main feed by setting its display property to none, effectively removing it from view. It also blocks requests for additional feed posts by targeting specific identifiers in LinkedIn's backend, ensuring that only the main feed is affected.
