Find out who’s tracking you with DecryptAds
TL;DR
DecryptAds is a new free service that simplifies the process of identifying which companies are tracking users through ads on websites and apps. By scraping publicly available adtech data, it provides insights into the entities involved in ad placements and data collection.
✦ Why It Matters
Use DecryptAds today to understand who is tracking your online activity and take control of your privacy.
Key Takeaways
- Explore DecryptAds to identify ad partners on websites you visit.
- Check for high-risk ad partners based in adversarial countries.
- Utilize the quiet removals feature to track suspicious advertisers.
- Consider using ad blockers to enhance your online privacy.
How It Works
DecryptAds aggregates data from various adtech files, such as ads.txt and app-ads.txt, to provide insights into which companies are allowed to run ads or collect data. By cross-referencing this data, users can uncover relationships between ad partners and identify potential security threats, such as malicious ads or data brokers collecting sensitive information.
