Full Summary
Hyperspace is designed to optimize disk space by finding and managing files that have identical contents. It utilizes macOS's space-saving clone feature, which allows multiple files to share a single instance of data on disk.
Users can select folders to scan, and the app identifies eligible files for reclamation. Once duplicates are found, Hyperspace replaces all but one of the identical files with clones, effectively reclaiming disk space.
The application has undergone several updates, improving its efficiency, error handling, and user interface. For instance, recent versions have enhanced the performance of scans and the accuracy of savings calculations, making it easier for users to manage their storage effectively.
