Unfortunately you sometimes need to do the thing
TL;DR
Learning Rust, or any new skill, often requires overcoming perfectionism and the initial struggle of being bad at it. Embracing the messy process of creation is essential for progress.
✦ Why It Matters
Start a small project in Rust today, accepting that initial attempts will be imperfect.
Key Takeaways
- Embrace imperfection; start coding even if you're not ready.
- Focus on creating a basic version before refining your work.
- Understand the difference between high-level concepts and low-level execution.
- Avoid relying solely on LLMs; hands-on practice is crucial.
How It Works
The process of learning involves a loop where creating something informs your understanding of the concept, allowing for iterative improvement. Starting with a small idea and gradually refining it helps bridge the gap between theory and practice.
