Biboumi – XMPP gateway to IRC
TL;DR
Biboumi is an innovative XMPP gateway that allows users to connect to IRC servers, enabling access to IRC channels through any XMPP client. This integration effectively transforms IRC channels into XMPP Multi-User Chats (MUCs).
✦ Why It Matters
Consider integrating Biboumi to enhance your XMPP client with IRC channel access today.
Key Takeaways
- Explore Biboumi for cross-protocol communication
- Use XMPP clients to access IRC channels
- Enhance community engagement with integrated messaging
- Simplify workflows by bridging messaging platforms
How It Works
Biboumi connects to IRC servers and translates messages between XMPP and IRC protocols. When a user sends a message from an XMPP client, Biboumi converts it into the appropriate IRC format and delivers it to the IRC channel.
Similarly, messages from IRC are translated back to XMPP, allowing users to interact seamlessly across both platforms.
